New Hong Kong Drama that I'm currently watching online.
It's an 80 episode TVB anniversary Blockbuster and
it's supposed to be Gigi Lai's last drama cos she is leaving TVB for good.



Cast: Ada Choi, Gigi Lai, Maggi Siu, Bowie Lam, Linda Chung, Bosco Wong, Moses Chan,
Wong Hei, etc.

Depavali (27/Oct/2008)

It's holiday today and I went to Tracy's house for a visit.

I've made the right choice cos she made some tiramisu!!

Dinner was "da-bao" food from the new Aston's express at AMK.

Maybe it's holiday and we were late (9pm), so there were no more beef!!!!

So we tried other stuff...

This is the 1st time i did not eat beef at Aston's.

Tracy had the crispy fish with mash potatoes and pasta salad.

I had the charboiled chicken chop with fries and coslaw

The chicken chop was actually very nice and tender!

Great Eastern Women 10k Run 2008 (26/Oct/2008)

Went to the "Great Eastern Women 10k Run" with sis and Junie.
Bobo and Nana were supposed to be there too, but in the end both didn't go.


Sis went for the 10km while me and Junie went for the 5km.
It's an accomplishment for me!!
I'm not an "exercise" person, so 5km is really long for me and
I have managed to jog non stop and under my personal best of 47mins!!

Old Hong Kong Cafe @ Katong Village (24/Oct/08)

Went Old Hong Kong Cafe at Katong Village with my sis for supper on Fri night.
Didn't know that there were so many late night owls in Singapore!
Overall, the food is not as bad as what I thought.

20th Century Boys (20/Oct/2008)

Went with my sis and her friend to watch "20th Century Boys".
This is the 1st part of the trilogy.
Simply loved this movie, Toshiaki Karasawa (唐沢寿明) is one of the reason.
Can't wait for the 2nd part which will only be shown beginning of next year.

In 1969, Kenji, an elementary school kid and his friends built a secret base during their summer holidays. They fantasized that they had to fight villains who were out to conquer the world and wrote them in the "Book of Prophecies".

Years later in 1997, Kenji becomes a convenience store manager and leads a regular life after giving up his dreams to become a rock star. His boring life is suddenly turned upside down when his old classmate dies mysteriously and an entire family in the neighbourhood disappears. At the same time, a religious cult and its mysterious leader, "Friend" emerges and a strange chain of events duplicating exactly the events described in the "Book of Prophecies" follow.

Celebrated the birthday of our 2 Libras, Dawn and Zane (whose birthdays are a week apart).
As Dawn's birthday angel and backup birthday angel for Zane,
I've got a hard time deciding on the venue.
Finally decided on 黑色会 at Vivo City.
