Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen (23/Jun/09)

Was given a pair of free tickets to watch Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen at The Cathay before everyone else! All thanks to my LG prada.
Surprisingly, the cinema was only 1/4 occupied.

Verdict: This is the best movie of 2009. I highly recommend it to all my friends.
The fighting scenes were awesome and the CG was really fantastic.
100% entertainment value, you want comedy, you have comedy,
you want action, you have action.
Looking forward for a Part 3, if there is one.

"You Ji Mian Xian" (19/Jun/09)

Went Tracy's house for Mahjong after work with the usual gang.
Someone suggested supper at this place that was constantly on Michelle Quek's blog.
So since Dawn was driving on that day, we decided to explore the area.
This places opens from 5pm to 4am, good timing for supper.

You Ji Mian Xian
the soup is delicious

Blood: The Last Vampire (16/Jun/09)

Friday, June 26, 2009

Watched this movie in Genting (130am show).
Overall, the movie is not bad but ending is crappy.
and the vampires looks more like monsters than vampires.

Synopsis taken from Golden Village website:
On the surface, Saya is a stunning 16-year old girl, but that youthful exterior hides the tormented soul of a 400 year-old halfling.Born to a human father and a vampire mother, she has for centuries been a loner, obsessed with using her samurai skills to rid the world of vampires, all the while knowing that she herself can survive only on blood like those she hunts. When she is sent onto an American military base in Tokyo by the clandestine organization she works for, Saya immediately senses that this may be her opportunity to finally destroy Onigen, the evil patriarch of all vampires. Using her superhuman strength and her sword, she begins to rid the base of its evil infestation in a series of spectacular and elaborate showdowns. However, it is not until she forms her first human friendship in centuries with the young daughter of the bases general that Saya learns her greatest power over Onigen may well be her ability for human connection.
