This time, we had our dinner there as well.

Celebrated sista's belated birthday at Werner's Oven at Upper East Coast Road.
Decided to try something new since both of us always go for Japanese cuisine.
There were mixed reviews for Werner's Oven, both nevertheless, we still want to try.


Paulaner Lager (we shared one 500ml glass)



Cheese Sausage
~ coarse pork sausage with cheese served with mashed potatoes & sauerkraut
sauerkraut - pickled cabbage



Knusperiegn Schweinhaze
~Crispy pork knuckles served with mashed potatoes & sauerkraut

Special for the month of Apr -
Apple struddel with vanilla ice-cream



Rote Grutze
~ Raspberries & sour-sweet cherry infused with sago topped with vanilla sauce

Tracy has cravings for pork knuckles, so off we went to Paulaner for dinner.

Junie also joined us for the dinner.
The ambience was great and food was above average.

I'm not a fan of beer, but the beer at Paulner is a must "drink":





I ordered the lager

Pan-roasted Rosti potato
with sauteed wood mushroom topped with asparagus tips and air-dried ham

Crispy pork knuckles served on bed of sauerkraut with German bread dumplings


charcoal-grilled sausage sampler
Frankfurter, Debreziner, garlic sausage, cheese knacker, Nuremberg sausages
served on bed of sauerkraut and mashed potatoes


It's dessert time!!!!
We wanted to order the baked cherry strudel, but it was not available that day:

warm apple strudel served with bourbon-vanilla sauce
