Ju Shin Jung Samgaetang Korean Restaurant (21/Jul/09)

Friday, July 24, 2009

Celebrated my birthday with my sis and mum at Shin Jung Samgaetang Korean Restaurant at Joo Chiat. Since Dad was away in Genting and Da Jie was out, we decided to have our dinner outside. The BBQ Buffet is only $25++ which you can order as many meat as you want.
But the meat selection is limited and the day that we went, they do not have beef.
So most of the meat we had was pork.

green tea and plain water

the wet tissue which came in tablet form,
you have to pour the water into the container for the tissue to expand

our BBQ table

These are our side dishes and sauce!!!
So many!!!

all the things on our table

our 1st attempt with the meat wrapped in lettuce

we also ordered the kimchi soup instead of the ginseng chicken soup

After dinner, we were served:

ginger tea

watermelon
For $25, I think it was quite worth our $$ as we got to order as many plates of meat as we want.
And the meat (pork and chicken) were tender.
But I immediately fell guilty after eating....there goes my 3 weeks of salad lunch!!!

Dinner with Nana, Supper with Dawn, Bobo, Junie and Tracy

A small celebration before my birthday. After work Nana jio-ed me for dinner

We ordered the 2 person set meal:

consisted of 6 side dishes

Ginseng chicken soup (we changed the soup)

After dinner, it's supper with Dawn, Bobo, Junie and Tracy.
It was supposed to be a small surprise as I only thought Dawn is
the only one meeting me. I was abit shocked when I see the other gals
in the car as well...
We went to C-Nai Hong Kong Cafe at East Coast Road as it closed at 3am,

Sunday, June 29, 2008

Took leave on Thursday to take my mum to NUH for her follow up.

Met Dawn for lunch at Orchard before our shopping.
Lunch was at and Indonesian Restaurant that is famous for their Ayam Penyat (fried flatten chicken).
But it's actually nothing fantastic, I have eaten better ones.
