Kanebo Lavshuca Loose Power

Saw quite a no of raves about this loose powder,

but it's not found in Singapore.

Lo and behold, my colleague went Japan for holiday and

I begged her to help me get it.

They have changed the packaging for this loose powder,

I think the previous packaging is much prettier.

But no more old packaging..

The puff is very soft!

Malaysia Grand Prix Result (05/Apr/09)

Twilight race - in order to cater to the European audience, the Malaysia GP was changed to
twilight race (5pm local time) for the 1st time and it turns out to be a disaster.
The race was suspended after 32 laps (out of 56 laps) as a tropical storm lashed the Sepang track, making conditions impossible for drivers to continue.
A restart was considered for 50mins, but with the rain continuing and darkness descending
after the twilight start, the race director elected not to attempt a restart.

Results:
1) Jenson Button ~ Bawn-Mercedes
2) Nick Heidfeld ~ BMW Sauber
3) Timo Glock ~ Toyota

Drivers standing:
1) Button ~ Bawn Mercedes - 15 points

WHAT HAPPENED TO FERRARI?!?!?!?!?!

Departures (15/Apr/09)

Finally got to watch "Departures". Now I know why it won the Oscar's.
Superb acting by Masahiro Motoki. No wonder he won the Best Actor in the Asia Film Awards.
A very touching story accompanied by brillant music.
Totally worth my every cent.

Synopsis from Golden Village:

Its a story about a cellist, Daigo (Masahiro Motoki) who loses his job and must move back to his hometown. Once back there he reconnects with his past, and comes to terms with his life, love and dreams. Desperate to find a job, he answers an ad listed under departures, which turns out to be misspelled. It was supposed to say the departed, the job pertains to dressing, washing, and putting makeup on the deceased before the funeral. It is a job that most people look down upon because you earn money when someone dies. At first Daigo, does not like his job but little by little he comes to a new understanding of it. The process of prepping the corpse is shown in detail within the context of the story, and little by little we too as an audience get sucked in. it is an incredible ceremony to witness.

In case you find Mashiro Motoki familar, he was actually the Gatsby Guy before Kimura Takuya.

Cheer Chen 陳綺貞 Concert 2009 (04/Apr/09)

Awesome Concert!!! I think she has converted me into her fan!
Went to Cheer Chen's concert with Bobo and Junie after MJ session at Zane's.
We bought the cheapest tics and due to the poor response,
our seats were brought forward (it's our gain!).
I was disappointed, disappointed not because of Cheer Chen's performance,
but disappointed because of the poor response.
I think our tics were well spent, pros were great, singing was awesome.
And the Guitar PK with the keyboardist, guitarist and drummer was really fantastic.
The concert ended at 1130pm with 4 encores!!

After the concert, we went Geylang for 田鸡粥

Spent our Saturday afternoon at Zane's place playing MJ.
But before MJ, we need the food to give us "energy".

Dawn had craving for Tom Yam Steamboat and
jio-ed me and Bobo to our favourite Tom Yam Steamboat at Parkway basement foodcourt.

Turn of event for the result of Australia Grand Prix

Trulli 's 3rd place from the Australia Grand Prix and Lewis Hamilton was disqualified!!
Hamilton and his team were stripped of his 3rd place and points after stewards
said they deliberately provided misleading evidence at the hearing that demoted Trulli
to 12th place for overtaking while the safety car was deployed.

Australia Grand Prix Result

Yes. It's another season of Grand Prix with Australia being the 1st stop.
It was not a promising 1st race for the Ferraris.
A driver error by Kimi sent his Ferrari into a wall on lap 42,
Masa retired 3 laps later due to a steering failure.
Trulli was stripped of his 3rd place when race stewards ruled that he had illegally overtaken
Hamilton while the safety car was on the track within the last 5 laps.

Results:
1st - Jenson Button (Bawn-Mercedes)
2nd - Rubens Barrichello (Bawn-Mercedes)
3rd - Lewis Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes)

Ferrari, Renault and Red Bull made appeals over the steward's decision to clear
3 rival teams' (Williams, Toyota and Brawn) controversial bodywork. (reae disffusers on the cars). The international Automobile Federation (FIA) said its International Court of Appeal
would hear the appeals in Paris on Apr 14.
