Carousel @ Royal Plaza at Scotts (11/May/09)

No work on 11/May! Yippee!!! So decided to go Carousel at Royal Plaza at Scotts for High Tea.
Never tried this before, so not much to hope for.
But surprisingly, I think it's better than Marriot's High Tea, which I think has dipped in quality.
Quite a satisfying experience.

Desserts:

Too bad the selection of cakes is not very wide.

Most of them are kuehs.

But the waffles is fantastic.

Balithai @ Suntec City (09/May/09)

Dinner at Balithai with Bobo and Junie at Suntec City after KTV session at Kbox.
They served Indonesian and Thai food.

Happy Mothers' Day..
My sista and I decided to order a cake from Dawn (d4desserts.blogspot.com),
to celebrate mothers' day.
But it's just an excuse to eat more cakes.
hahaha...

Manpuku Japanese Food Hall (03/May/09)

Went Tampines 1 for lunch after service with Junie, Dawn and Bobo.
Decided to try Manpuku Japanese Food Hall.
This Food Hall offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a Japanese street setting.
There are altogether 10 counters in the food hall which includes renowned restaurant names
such as BOTEJYU, YOSHIMI, HOKKYOKUSEI, AOBA, etc.
The Concept of this Food Hall is the same as Shodoku and Marche.
Order your food using the card system and pay when you are leaving.
Our bill came up to a hefty $127!!

(The very 有默契 Dawn and Junie bought the same item even though we were "assigned" to

Gal's Night out (02/May/09)

Met up with Dawn for dinner at Plaza Singapura after her facial.
Dinner is at the Kopitiam Foodcourt.
Terrance Chow and Zhang Yadong co-owned a stall there selling roasted meat,
so we decided to try it out.

四宝饭

which consists of:

and roast meat

we also ordered the fried fish soup from another stall

After dinner and shopping at Wisma, we headed down to Bugis for dessert with Bobo and Nana.

This is the 2nd time that we didn't get to go to Ah Chew because it was super crowded.

So we crossed over and went 记得吃 instead.
