Attended a colleague's wedding dinner at a restaurant at Yishun.
Can't remember the restaurant name.

Kimi replaced by Alonso in next season F1 2010

It's confirmed!!! Alonso will replace Kimi for Ferrari next year even though Kimi still has a contract until end 2010.
I was really upset about the news.
And Kimi might quite F1 next year, so if Kimi quits, it's bye bye to F1 for me as well.
But if Kimi still continues, he might be team-mates with Hamilton at Maclaren.
OMG, don't know which is worst, Kimi quiting F1 or teaming with Hamilton.

Singapore Grand Prix 2009 (25/Sep ~ 27/Sep)

Somehow, I was not as excited as last year. And I didn't really take alot of photos like last year.
But this year, my sis brought her new cannon DSLR EOS 500D and the photos turned out great.
Imagine those cars were going at super high speed and my normal digital camera can only take very blurred pictures.

Sunday's program highlights


this time we went to a different place which is outside esplanade.


reason why we changed place?
Cos After Sat's qualifying, we were "sian" of the results (Hamilton in pole position),
so we were thinking there is nothing much to see, so no need to go turn 13.
We just wanted to wait for the driver's parade at 6.30pm, take Kimi's photo and
walk around the area.

After the drivers' parade, we decided to go Marina Square for dinner.
Cafe Cartel was so empty!

After dinner, we went back to Padang, the drivers were already halfway through their 61 laps.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 13

Cycle 13 is the newest to be shown in US.
This time, the selected models are all 5 feet 7 and below.
This is something new in the modelling industry.
It's catfighting time!

Tawandang Microbrewery @ Dempsey Hill (22/Sep/09)

Dinner with customers from Japan at this Thai-German Bar and Restaurant at Dempsey.

Couldn't take photos of the food cos paisey lah.

It's supposed to be quite popular in Thailand.

Food wise, it's above average and the price is not too expensive.

We ordered 5 dishes to share and total, it's about $120net.

There is even live band after 8pm.

After dinner, it's off to Ben & Jerry's nearby for ice-cream.

Had a hard time not to whip out my camera for photos.

But no choice, still have to control.

So no photos this time....

Project Runway Season 6

Started airing in the US on 20/Aug, Channel 5 just started airing last week, 17/Sep.

Went for supper with sisters and brother in law at Punggol Nasi Lemak at Tanjong Katong Road.
It was 11pm but there were still alot of people queuing.
The chicken wings were delicious but the rice was so so

To curb my "Vampire addiction" before the release of "New Moon",
I'm currently also watching this new series "The Vampire Diaries"
also by CW (the people behind Gossip Girl).
So far so good...

After waiting for so long, Gossip Girl Season 3 is finally back!
Starting 14/Sep every Monday (US time).

Lunch was at Ebisbashi at Iluma Bugis after service.
There is a scanner pen at each table for you to do self-ordering.
Interesting ordering procedure but the food was so-so only.
